🇧🇹You pay a daily fee, measure your footprint, and still feel like time forgot to move on. Over 70% of Bhutan is forest, plastic bags are banned, and even the mountains are off-limits, they belong to the gods. So no, you don’t climb here. You walk an explere, through temples, cedar forests, and villages where happiness is a way of life, not a slogan. Culture trips and trekking available . . . #thinairtrips #visitbhutan #tigernest #adventuretrips

The way out of Namche started under fresh snow — not what you expect this time of year, and it changed everything. We took the upper trail towards Mong and Dole (4,200 m), leaving the busier route behind. Quieter, more remote, and the landscape starts shifting fast with fewer trees, drier terrain. We crossed paths with yak caravans on narrow trails, and barely saw anyone else along the way. From there we continued towards Machhermo (4,470 m), gaining height steadily pace slows, and everything becomes more deliberate. . . . #thinairtrips #ebc #nepal

This is what our mountaineering course in Kyrgyzstan looks like 🤘 We start with the fundamentals: knots, self-arrest, glacier travel, and understanding crevasses. All of this begins right next to the hut, where we practice in a controlled environment before moving into more technical terrain. Yes, we “sacrifice” a few people for crevasse rescue practice 🤣 but they seem to enjoy it. Sometimes we’re lucky enough to train next to frozen waterfalls, adding an extra element to the experience. And somewhere between the ropes, crampons, and ice axes… we build real friendships 🎸 . . . #thinairtrips #mountaineeringcourse

This Eid, we’re going to the Himalaya. Langtang Valley is a beautiful trek in Nepal over 10 day. The start point is accesible by car from Kathmandu. In just over a week, you move from green valleys and small villages to proper high mountain scenery above 4,500 metres. It’s active, it’s cultural, and it gives you that feeling of really being in the mountains , not just visiting them. If you’ve been thinking about doing something different this Eid, this is a very good place to start. Small group & limited spots . . . #thinairtrips #langtangvalley
