THE STORY OF A LITTLE SPIDER | 250D 16MM « The Story of a Little Spider is a very personal short film. It’s a tribute to my mother, and more broadly to women who have had to reshape or set aside their dreams because of the expectations placed upon them. I chose to shoot this short film on 16mm because its texture and fragility felt deeply connected to the emotional intimacy of the story. More generally, the themes I explore are timeless, stories that transcend generations and continue to resonate across time. This is why I am deeply drawn to shooting on film.
