howdy everyone,
at the end of last year, we made a big decision to step away from THGTC for a while as we focused on some personal matters. admittedly, some of our lives were in disarray. we needed the time to create some stability for ourselves, take care of loved ones, and pursue some other creative projects we wanted to ensure were getting their due. over the course of those months, we spent a lot of time reflecting and figuring out what our next step was going to be. some priorities shifted, the world got a lot darker, we finished our first charity compilation, and also made the decision that thgtc is coming to an end. no instagram stories or combative lambgoat articles, no big fallout, no one’s fault, just an understanding of what we need as individuals and what that means for the project as a whole.
this is a project that has achieved so much more than we could have ever anticipated. we’ve crossed the country multiple times, met so many wonderful people, and created support for grassroots and charity organizations that contribute to much larger causes than just playing some ridiculous metal music.
we are so grateful to every single one of you for making THGTC so much bigger than what the four of us are. you have an equal share in what made this special. thank you for everything.
we have two shows left that are going to be absolutely incredible.
while everything is possible / none of us are opposed to getting back together when it feels right, these are going to be it for at least a very long time.
as the systems around us continue to slide further into oppression, into technocracy, and apathy, do your part to continue fighting against it. remain connected to your communities, carry those we’ve lost with you, and don’t give up hope. arm yourselves with a mind (maybe a couple other things as well), and understand the radical amount of empathy required to move forward and change this world for the better. we can make it happen - hand in hand, arm in arm, and torch to every opposing body.
see you soon be safe love you

First show of 2026 was down in Savannah to say goodbye to @thgtc . I’ve had several opportunities to shoot them over the past few years, so it was extra special to get to do it one last time for their final show 🖤
farewell show for @thgtc
this was my first and last time seeing them perform. no amount of photos can truly capture how incredible it was to see them live. they will be greatly missed. thank you for letting me bring a camera into this funeral.
i am so grateful that, in a convoluted way, this band led to meeting nat, aaron and tanner. you have inspired me in ways i’m unable to describe in this language.

Sometimes, the world puts exactly who you need into your life at the right time.
These four are it for me. In such a short amount of time, this band became a family band to Dying Whale and Machinist. There was a level of art and passion that this band delivered that at that point I’ve never seen a band from my home state deliver and I knew I wanted to connect with them. I feel lucky I was able to do many tours with Holy Ghost whether playing music with them or taking photos. And every time I was in the van with them, I would literally have my face in pain from the amount of laughter that would happen. There will be no other band like this. Thankful I get to share the stage with them one more time and hang out with them.
Rest in peace @thgtc

Hello and welcome back to At Least There’s Fest! Joining the show today is Nat Lacuna from The Holy Ghost Tabernacle Choir and Rosemary Nods Upon The Grave.
Nat and I chat about being an artist in Savannah, touring in the South, and the formation of The Holy Ghost Tabernacle Choir. We also get into how the band grew and change over the years, their multiple performances at Fest, and the importance in finding community.
We also talk about Nat’s new band, Rosemary Nods Upon The Grave and how the band differs in an important way for from Holy Ghost. We dig into Holy Ghosts farewell show, happening this Saturday in Savannah. It is an absolutely stacked lineup, get to that gig if you can.
