Sorry for having Black features, I guess. 🫠
When I say that people talk about me (and often to me) differently to white ace activists, this is an example of what I mean.

Today is #IDAHOBIT - the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia. And on this day, I ask you to remember that acephobia matters to. We also face discrimination, we just don't get the same degree of support, allyship or awareness. 💜

NEW: Our asexual community is reporting sharper declines in acceptance, outness, and visibility.
EVERYONE deserves to feel seen, heard, and loved. 🖤🩶🤍💜

Asexuality 🤝🏾 s3x-positivity! As an asexual activist, it's such a nice surprise to be nominated for the S3x-Positive Influencer Award at the #SNAPawards2026! If you want, you can click the link in my bio to vote for me (it just takes a tap and you can do it more than once). 👀
It is often (wrongly) assumed that if you're asexual, you probably have s3x-negative attitudes, which really isn't the case and often leads to asexuality and asexual people being left out of important conversations. Asexuality and s3x-positivity do not exist in contradiction, and that's something I've always tried to highlight in my work. Thanks for recognising that! 💜

Asexuals 🤝🏾 lesbians! It's always an honour to be included in #LesbianVisibilityWeek. And to think there's sections of the community that prefer to act like asexual inclusion - and the inclusion of anyone beyond the B - is a threat to gay people in particular.
It's been amazing to spend every day in London meeting with my fellow campaigners, organisations, friends and my favourite politicians, from the Stock Exchange to Parliament, ensuring that our work is coordinated and what asexuality remains visible.
Thank you for recognising my work, including me on the #DIVAPowerList and nominating me for a Changemaker Award at the DIVA Awards again this year. It's hard out here, but we're stronger together.
Shoutout to the @divacharitabletrust , their incredible team and of course @ladyphyll - for your inspiration and for emphasising intersectionality the way you do. 🩷❤️

New research finds that asexual respondents report sharper declines in acceptance than other LGBTQ+ groups - Human Rights Campaign
For the first time, the Human Rights Campaign has partnered with British multi-award-winning asexual activist and researcher, Yasmin Benoit, on a new report highlighting the impact the cultural climate is having on the asexual community in particular. Their data finds that asexual respondents reported sharper declines in their acceptance, outness and visibility - and also the nuances in what those who just identified as asexual are experiencing, compared to those with different romantic orientations and gender-diverse identities.
As one of the biggest LGBTQ+ organisations in the US, the collaboration is testament to the growing recognition of the asexual community’s needs. Yasmin Benoit has said that she is “honoured” to be partnering with the HRC on this new research. “There is still debate about asexual inclusion in LGBTQ+ spaces, so it’s amazing to see such an influential organization get behind the asexual community in a time when we need the support the most.”
"I have no interest in proving my asexuality at this point, people either believe me or they don’t." Neither of which is my problem. 💋

April 6 marks International Asexuality Day.
According to the HRC Foundation’s 2025 Annual LGBTQ+ Community Survey, our asexual community is experiencing sharper declines in acceptance, outness, and visibility — more than LGBTQIA+ adults overall.
