Ahmed Toure is an Austin-based climber, coach, and commentator who has built his reputation at the intersection of performance, coaching, and community. A former American Ninja Warrior competitor, he gained national visibility through his climbing-driven approach to movement.
Over the past decade, Ahmed has become a respected figure in competitive climbing. As co-founder and head coach of Team Arete, he develops youth athletes from their first competitions to the national stage, with a coaching philosophy rooted in movement quality, mental fortitude, and long-term progression.
He serves as a USA Climbing commentator, offering technical insight at competitions and contributing to the sport’s growth. Ahmed co-founded The Workshop ATX, a purpose-built training space in Austin designed for climbers who want to train intentionally and elevate their craft.
Known for his energetic presence and commitment to athlete development, Ahmed represents a modern generation of climbing leadership where performance, education, and culture meet.

Introducing Henry Davis the architect behind the movement and head routesetter at The Workshop.
From his early days climbing in Wisconsin to helping athletes prepare for national and international competitions, Henry’s life has been defined by a singular obsession with the sport. He’s a firm believer that great things emerge naturally from the right environment, and he’s here to build exactly that for our community.
Henry’s here to make sure every route we set reflects that belief.
