@theworkplaceevent at @necbirmingham . 3 days of magic! 💜 We came, we set up, and honestly we were not prepared for how overwhelmingly beautiful the response would be. There was a queue at the door. People shared their experiences openly. Some left with tears in their eyes,not because they were overwhelmed, but because they felt seen. Truly seen. And if you know what it means to move through the world as a neurodivergent person in loud, busy, overstimulating environments you'll understand exactly why that matters. That is why Calm Nest Collective exists. But here's what also made us incredibly proud: our spaces don't just support people, they reflect our values end to end. Large portions of furniture and other things in our Calm Nest Space was sourced from the @the_bhf charity store in Birmingham. Because neuroinclusion and sustainability aren't separate conversations in our world. We walk the talk. 🌱 Sensory-friendly. Neuroinclusive. Accessible. Sustainable. That's what Calm by Design looks like in practice. None of this happens without an incredible team behind it. To everyone who showed up, set up, held space, and made sure every single visitor felt welcome, thank you. You made this what it was. ❤️ Thank you @thisisnineteengroup for trusting us with being your wellbeing partner for this event! And we are looking forward to all those still coming!
