This is Winnie. She’s 17 and has been with Leslie and Ed for 17 years and in fact brought them together at a concert. She’s crossing the rainbow bridge tomorrow so they brought her to a final house concert tonight. She can barely move or see and yet when I played my song “A Life in Music” she shocked the room by painfully rising up and limped across the floor to me where she looked right in my eyes as I sang that song. I chose it for her, but didn’t tell anybody. That sweet little dog stared right into my soul with her one good eye for the entire song and the room just gasped. I’ll see you Winnie, when we meet again in the grand mystery.
