‘Tis the season for rosé! And our sommelier Sam couldn’t agree more. Catch two of his favorite rosés that won’t break the bank in this recent @wine_spectator article and on our rosé flights at both Wine Kitchen locations now!
Some nights call for lightness. Some nights ask for depth. Fortunately, we make both beautifully. Even though wine is our first love and namesake, we take our cocktails and spirits very seriously—and also un-seriously.

We are honored to be featured in Southern Living as we approach 18 years.

To our team (past and present), thank you for the care, work ethic and heart you show each other and our guests. You are the lifeblood of our restaurant. Our success and longevity is a direct result of the rigor and joy you bring to your job daily. Quite obviously, all of our success is because of and belongs to you all. Thank you. The restaurant business is a people business. We are lucky (I am grateful) to have some of the very best people working with us.
To all our guests over the years, we continue because of your generosity and support. Leesburg has been our first home for 18 years and we could not be more proud and grateful to be here. We are humbled daily by how much our guests enjoy visiting our restaurants. We and I remain ever grateful for such support and kindness.
Running a small business is extremely difficult in any industry. You wear all the hats, work all the hours, and then hope it all works out. Running and working in restaurants presents a unique challenge to the families of those individuals who choose that profession. Nights, weekends, missed Mother's Days for years and years, and all the time worked. The hours and cadence of a restaurant put a lot of burden on the families back at home, to do all the bath times, to go to parent nights alone, to understand why mom or dad won't be at your performance or game this time. It is all for the greater good of hospitality.
This is not a complaint or a lecture, but a long winded thank you to my family and to all the families of the great people who we have worked with, and continue to work with, every day. Restaurants have helped build an amazing life for my family and me. They have also almost destroyed it (a few times) in the pursuit of creating something great.
Thank you, over and over again to my family and to all the families for supporting us and allowing us to do what we love and bring joy and hospitality to our communities.

It’s Friday night and the forecast calls for patio pasta and a glass of bubbly with a sunny view. Happy Hour runs 3-6PM, but the vibes go all night!

News from The Wine Kitchen Frederick!
Our Chef Bri has been named one of FSR Magazine’s 40 Under 40 Rising Stars—a recognition that speaks to the talent, creativity, and leadership she brings to the kitchen.
Her impact on our team and our menu has been significant, and this honor is well deserved.
Congratulations, Chef. 🍾

We at the Wine Kitchen could not be more excited to announce NEW ROLES for two of our longtime talented leaders, as we continue to grow and find new ways to welcome and excite our diners.
“Longtime Executive Chef [of the LEESBURG WK] Tim Rowley is shifting his role within the company and new Executive Chef John Cummings will now lead the kitchen.
Cummings, a Leesburg native, attended culinary school at the Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley, California. He first joined the Wine Kitchen in 2015 as a line cook. He left the Wine Kitchen for about five years from 2018 to 2023 to work first at DB Bistro Moderne, a Daniel Boulud restaurant in New York City, followed by Alchemy Bistro & Bar on Martha’s Vineyard.
He returned to Leesburg in 2023 to be closer to his family, and served as sous chef at The Wine Kitchen until this recent promotion.” @loudountimes
Don’t worry! You will still see Tim around the Wine Kitchens and our sister restaurants at the Hotel Burg, sometimes in the kitchen and sometimes helping our front of house staff, when he’s not working diligently behind the scenes.
