Come out for our final one before summer break! We’re excited to welcome back @bonedaddies_band to the stage and celebrate @zide.art ’s closing showcase for “The Order in the Chaos,” on view in the Walter Art Gallery.
Third Friday has always been about bringing people together: good music, local art, creative energy, and a space where everyone can feel welcome. Whether you’ve been with us all season or this will be your first time stopping by, we’d love to spend one more evening with the community before we take a summer pause.
This event is free and open to everyone, so grab your friends, explore the gallery, support local artists and makers, and start your summer off with good vibes ✨ We’ll see you back in September for another season of Third Fridays!
We were excited to host Pensar Academy for their final welding workshop of the school year!
These talented students explored the full creative process by using design software, plasma cutters, and welding equipment to create a unique metal art piece representing their school group. From concept to creation, they stepped into the shop ready to learn, experiment, and challenge themselves in new ways.
We want to give a huge congratulations to this incredible group of students — some of whom we’ve had the privilege of working with for many years at @pensaracademy . Watching their skills, creativity, and confidence grow over time has been truly inspiring.
We are so proud of each student who showed up, worked hard, and created something outside of their comfort zone. Congratulations on finishing this chapter, and best of luck as you head into high school!

A new found love for photography 📸✨
Together, we captured over 1,250 photos this weekend—and every single one tells a story.
Shoutout to the incredible teens who showed up for Saturday’s Innovators Circle event: “How To Start Your Photography Business” + Photo Walk & Headshots 😎. For some, this marked the beginning of their very first official photography portfolios—learning about different equipment, photography styles, and applying composition techniques learned from professional photographers across portrait, street, film, wildlife, and nature photography.
We also had the chance to snap fresh headshots for teens stepping into their next chapter—whether that’s updating LinkedIn profiles, launching new businesses and brands, or celebrating senior year milestones 🎓
A huge thank you to @thewalterhive + @kidsinfocus and to photographers Sue, Leon, Jim, and Ashley for sharing not just the art of photography, but the spirit of entrepreneurship and creative expression with our teens.
