Yeshua by @theviclucas says it all Jesus is the king 🤴
*Jesus the King* 👑 Dc: #walkfreekids
He wasn’t born in a palace. No royal robes, no army. Born in a manger in Bethlehem, to a carpenter and a young woman. But His kingship was different.
*1. King by authority, not force*
He said “My kingdom is not of this world” — John 18:36. His crown wasn’t gold, it was thorns. His throne was a cross. Yet even Pilate put “King of the Jews” above His head. He ruled through serving: washing feet, healing the broken, eating with outcasts.
*2. King who flips the script*
Earthly kings take. Jesus gave. He fed 5,000, calmed storms, raised the dead. He told parables about lost sheep, prodigal sons, and hidden treasure — showing His kingdom values the least, the lost, the last.
*3. King who conquered differently*
Most kings win by killing enemies. Jesus won by dying for them. The resurrection was His coronation. Death, the one enemy no king beats, didn’t hold Him. “He is risen” is basically coronation day.
*4. King who’s still reigning*
We call Him “King of kings” because His rule isn’t limited to one country or century. It’s about justice, mercy, and love breaking into the world through people. “Thy kingdom come” is a prayer that His way of doing things shows up here, now.
