A little photo dump from the months Iāve been too busy living to post.
Itās strange how healing sneaks up on you. Between July and now, Iāve been outside more. Iāve laughed more. Iāve found comfort in small things ā berry-stained hands, live music, familiar faces.
I didnāt realize how much I needed this stretch of time: the friends, the music, the small adventures that brought me back to myself.
Healing doesnāt look like staying still. Sometimes it looks like laughter, motion, sunlight, and a camera roll full of reminders that life keeps going.
And so do I.
Happy 4th of July from the United States of What the Actual Hell šŗšøāØ
While the countryās being gutted by fascists and fearmongers, we chose to celebrate a little differently:
by raising $2,550 for the Nationalities Service Center, supporting refugees and immigrants in Philly.
Because when systems fail, community steps up.
Because freedom means nothing if itās only for some.
Because care is revolutionary.
Thank you to all who came out to this yearās Louisiana Seafood Boil, hosted June 7th on behalf of @nscphila with help from @fletcherstreeturbanridingclub
All our great works, our monuments, our historiesā
and yet what holds us here,
what keeps us breathing,
is the quiet persistence of six inches of soil
and the grace of rain.
It is enough, isnāt it?
To watch the trees stretch toward the light
without hesitation.
To see the rivers spill over stone,
unconcerned with where they are going.
The world does not ask permission to beā
it simply is.
Spring reminds me of this.
That there is no need to hurry.
That transformation is not loud,
but steady.
That we, too, are unfolding.
bell hooks said true community
is not about taking space,
but making it.
I think of this when I sit
at a table filled with friends,
when I hear my name called
with love.
To build a place where belonging growsā
what an act of defiance.
What an act of care.
Yes, the world is frightening.
Grants are silenced for speaking truth.
Friends lose jobs for daring to be.
People we love make choices
that break our hearts.
It would be easy to let despair settle in,
like stone.
But I have seen the way
a seed cracks open
and still becomes a tree.
I have seen the way
morning light insists on spilling
over the dark horizon.
I have seen the way
love, once planted,
refuses to be uprooted.
So I will believe in this magic.
Merry Spring.

Watching Tiara and Chris say āI doā was such a joyātwo people so clearly made for each other. š«¶ Between the heartfelt ceremony that celebrated tradition and a wedding party the size of a small army, it was impossible not to feel the love in that space.
From bringing in family for beautiful Filipino traditions to making sure their beloved pets were part of the day, Tiara and Chris donāt just share loveāthey show it in everything they do. One of the kindest, most amazing people I know, and a hubby who balances her sparkle perfectly with steady, quietly hilarious charm. Together, youāre unstoppable.
Wishing these two both all the love and happiness in the world as you embark on this next chapter. š„ Hope your honeymoon is as dreamy as your wedding day! š
October is my favorite month. Every year it reminds me that life is a magical tapestry woven from laughter, mystery, and soul-stirring moments. This year has been a journey through unexpected spells of joy and grief, gathering with kindred spirits, and finding magic in the everyday. Thankful for friends who feel like family, the nights that turn into early morning stories, and the moments of quiet introspection that ground us. Hereās to the witchy energy and depth that weaves us all together. āØ
