Jubilee is a vibrant and confident feline who is ready to charm his way into your heart! This outgoing kitty is not shy at all—he greets everyone like an old friend and is always up for an adventure. He is incredibly chill and easygoing. He loves to survey his kingdom from above, either perched on a shelf or lounging on your shoulders. He’s the ultimate shoulder buddy, always ready to keep you company while you go about your day.
When he’s not napping (he loves his beauty sleep!), Jubilee is a curious little supervisor. He’ll hop onto any table or workspace to investigate, ensuring that he’s always in the loop. He adores being close to his humans and will happily curl up for a cozy nap, purring contentedly as he drifts off.
Jubilee enjoys gentle pets but has a few preferences—he’s not a fan of having his back feet or rear touched, and he’ll let you know with a little meow if you cross that line! He has a unique way of showing affection—he might give your skin or hair a gentle lick when he’s feeling particularly loving. He’s also not very vocal; aside from when you touch his no-go zones, Jubilee prefers to communicate with purrs, eye contact, and body language.
This smart kitty learns quickly and is very polite at mealtime. He patiently waits by his bowl when he’s hungry. He also loves to stretch, often coming over for a biiiig vertical stretch with your help. His love for stretching also ties into his joy for scratching to keep his claws in tip-top shape, so he'll definitely need a scratching post or two!
Jubilee does have allergies that require special care. When his allergies flare up, he becomes very, very itchy around his face. We have found that he thrives on a strictly hydrolyzed diet, monthly shots, and a daily dose of atopica. It’s essential to keep him away from any other food--even if it's just a bite—as anything outside his diet will trigger a flare up.

Have you been looking for a gentle giant of a dog that is a little awkward, a smidge nervous and a lot goofy? Run, don’t walk, and go get Disco. This tall boy is such a fantastic companion. He followed me around and stayed close by the entire time we hung out. He explored a little but mostly asked for cuddles and love. He’s been in playgroup and done well with other dogs, but he does seem confused about the “rules” sometimes- awkwardly trying to be part of the game the other dogs are playing but not 100% confident he’s doing it right. Perpetual new kid at school energy. He’s quite smart, very sweet, can look very serious at times and is someone’s soul dog. A dog his size won’t actually need much more exercise than a smaller dog- just more floor space for naps. Great Danes are FANTASTIC pups to have as part of your family- and Disco is one of the best I’ve met. Seriously- go adopt him at your first opportunity! Sabrina is equal parts cuddle bug and tiny athlete. The moment you wake up or walk through the door after work, she comes running to greet you — purring loudly and asking for hugs before anything else. She absolutely loves being close to her people and makes every day feel a little brighter.
Once cuddle time is over, it’s time for Sabrina to put on a show. This girl can RUN. She zooms through the house at top speed, leaping onto toys, weaving around obstacles, and showing off her incredible agility like an Olympic athlete. Unlike some kittens, Sabrina isn’t overly food motivated, but she is completely motivated by fun, playtime, and spending time with you. Meet Dora! 🐾
Dora is a beautiful 3-year-old German Shepherd who came to the shelter with two other Shepherds. She warmed up to the volunteers right away and quickly showed her gentle, affectionate nature. Dora loves to give as much love as she gets, and her constant smile makes her even more endearing.
This gorgeous girl has the cutest floppy ears that bounce like little wings when she walks, a detail that perfectly matches her sweet and playful spirit. Recently, she and her brother Dozer went on a hike and were absolute champs tackling the trails. Dora clearly loves being outdoors, taking in every sound and scent of nature.
She’s just as happy to trot around the yard and explore as she is to lie down and relax by your side. Despite whatever challenges she’s faced with her Shepherd family, Dora always seems to wear that bright, happy smile. She’s a lovely, positive,
and truly beautiful girl inside and out.

Completed the day hike, and Dora did great. She wants to play with every dog she sees, which necessitates a respectful distance. Therefore, there were 0 incidents. She likes people and is indifferent to cyclists. Like most dogs, she's nervous when it's too loud (sanitation trucks, street sweepers, etc), but stopping and petting seems to help.
She wore the 'Adopt Me' vest, and 3 people stopped me to inquire about her (a new record).
She is aggressively shedding her winter coat, so Leslie helped me give her a bath. She did not want to get in the tub, but once she was in, she handled her bath like a champ!

Chu Chu is a sweet girl who likes to snuggle with you and give kisses. She is also very good at playing and entertaining herself. She likes her mouse toys, exploring empty boxes, and chasing a ball until she is exhausted. After all that, she will find you to sleep on your lap. Her morning routine is to find a patch of sun after waking up. She likes to purr and is starting to have the cutest meows.

Mississippi is a senior (8 years old) boxer lady is so sweet and playful and curious. She may no longer operate the max speed always, but she's still got plenty of gas in the tank. Slower, steadier, sweeter- sounds like a better deal to me. She walked well on leash and was more than happy to meet a new friend. Mostly unimpressed by the noisy other dogs, she really just wanted to enjoy her time, literally stopping to smell the flowers, playing with toys, tolerating me putting toys on her head (unimpressed by that one) and getting lots of love and scratches. Lots of folks hesitate about adopting older pets- worried about the timelinewhich I get. But. You have to think of the quality vs the quantity. Older dogs get It- they know how to connect, appreciate and enjoy every moment. They require less training and demand less of your energy to keep them entertained. They're also a lot less likely to eat your shoes. Mississippi is gorgeous, sweet, confident, smart and basically a great catch.
