Anyone else suffering from Moab withdrawals after @moabredrokrally ? Now don’t get us wrong, we absolutely love to crawl our @assaultutv / @kawasakiusa KRX at Sand Hollow, but the views on the trails in Moab are just something special. This is Moab Rim and it has some of the best views Moab has to offer. Our KRX is running a new set of 35-inch @mrttires Rocky RX tires wrapped around 15-inch @muscleracewheels Tail Gunner beadlocks. And we are so glad that guys at @theutvpros convinced us to swap out the stock cage for one they built - it absolutely finishes the look and adds another level of safety. We still need to add in a @vipermachine shifter, and then we might just be done! What a wicked race! First and foremost I want to thank everyone involved in getting this race car to the races. Theres a lot of people that put their own blood, sweat, tears and hard earned money. Mom and dad for their support and sacrifice to give us kids the opportunity to go have fun. The amazing support of our sponsors and friends. @youngs_rigs for his amazing skills in the right seat giving us the best chance at having good days. Day 1: Started out good running our own pace, marking down laps and getting a feel for the car. I made the slight mistake in a corner and put us on 2 wheels and stuffing the right front tire causing a nut to fall off a bolt. Ending our day at the start of lap 3/5 with the loss of steering. Special thanks to @trophy_talon for helping a fellow competitor out by giving us the need part to get ready for the next day.! Day 2: Felt good, car felt amazing, and started hitting our marks. Again running our own pace, getting comfortable. At the start of lap 4/5 car went into limp mode from a failed injector wire ending our day. Overall amazing experience, again thanks to EVERYONE involved in making the people's car. A car built by locals for locals!
