It’s dawned on me that this record is going to crack me open. That first day in the studio reminded me of who I used to be and who I am not anymore. However, like verdigris...the myriad of green hues that form on copper after pressure and time have their way...I now sit transformed: a new man, a new player, with new art. The past echoes, the shadow follows, but it’s this new patina’d man that must do the work while the world yearns for the bridge of art.
Today was a complete success, thanks to Vincent at @theundergroundvt . The man is the real deal. We started tracking Iron Sky for MMC and the new record...what a day.

The town of Randolph has been celebrating #makemusicday for the past 6 years, with musicians spread all across the downtown. It has become quite the highlight event, bringing out hundreds of people every summer solstice. The Randolph Make Music Day committee is already busy planning this year’s event.

Every June 21st, the summer solstice, musicians of all levels take to streets, parks, porches, and stages around the world to celebrate the joy of making music. Vermont has been part of this global tradition since 2016, and we’re just getting started.
This year, statewide coordination has moved to a new team right here in Randolph — a collaboration between @theundergroundvt , @chandlercenterforthearts , and @wrcraftcenter — building on over a decade of work by @bigheavyworldvt . Together, we’re working to make the event more connected, more supported, and more visible than ever.
