Very long and transparent post :)
So the last few months have definitely been the hardest times I’ve ever experienced. I decided to stop trying to control my life because every time I tried to do something my way, I ended up hurting myself and making matters worse. I decided to surrender my plans to God and let him work his will through me. It all sounds like peaches and cream when you hand yourself over to God, but honestly, it’s a very tough battle. See when you align yourself with God, that puts you in opposition with the devil; in other words, when you are obedient to God, you will experience spiritual warfare and constant attacks from the enemy. I’m writing this in hopes to give strength and the spirit of perseverance to anyone that may be in a battle with the enemy at the moment. You may be lost and wondering why you are so broken when all you’re doing is following what God has told you to do, but I’m here to tell you that all storms are apart of God’s plan. The storm isn’t for devastation… it’s preparation for your purpose. God loves you and wants to give you all of your heart desires but sometimes we aren’t in the right space or mindset to obtain the blessings. God doesn’t want to gift you something you will fumble so he’ll put you through trials and tribulations to renew your mind and heart so that you can properly handle your abundance. I know we grow weary and tired and wonder why, but God doesn’t give us more than we can handle. After every storm comes sunshine.
Even as I was making this video the Devil was trying to literally break me down. I never struggled as much as I did when I was making this one and once I got my momentum back, he even took my wig off to throw me off 😂 but watch God use that for the better! I love you all 🫶🏽 I hope this message touches someone. I also tagged women that helped me through this storm! ❤️
James 1:2-4 - When troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
