2026, we’re ready. ✨ With grateful hearts, we thank our donors, partners, families, and community for all you made possible in 2025. Because of you, children and youth impacted by violence experienced healing, creativity, and hope. As we enter the new year, we carry hope—for growth, for peace, and for continued transformation. Thank you for walking this journey with The TraRon Center. 💙 #Grateful #NewYearHope #TraRonCenter #HealingInCommunity #TurningPainIntoPossibility

December 3rd will always be the night that changed everything. In 1993, my sister Tracy and her unborn baby were killed, and my mother and siblings were shot. Thirty-two years later, the weight of that night still lives with me. My life since has held both deep agony and unexpected joy. Grief has taught me how to live without Tracy’s physical presence while carrying her in my heart through every birthday, every holiday, every celebration. I’m grateful for the time I had with her. Grateful for the extra time with Ronnie. Grateful for my mom and sister Danielle. And grateful for the loving community—family, friends, church, mentors, and God—who carried me when I couldn’t carry myself. The TraRon Center is part of that healing. My way of turning pain into possibility, and tragedy into something that brings others hope. Love remains. Always. 💛

✨ This Give Tuesday, your love makes healing possible. At The TraRon Center, every paint stroke, every journal entry, every circle of support gives a child impacted by gun violence the chance to breathe, heal, and hope again. For eight years, your generosity has helped us build a haven where children rediscover joy, strength, and belonging. And today—we need you more than ever. 💛 Whether you’re giving for the first time or continuing your faithful support, your gift fuels afterschool programs, Artful Summers, therapy services, and the safe community our kids deserve. Give healing. Give hope. Give today. 📲 Donate: /donate/ #GiveTuesday #TraRonCenter #HealTheChildren EndGunViolence GiveHope

Today, marks 29 years since our founder @ababeforchrist lost her brother Ronnie to gun violence. Ryane shared these thoughts as she reflects on her relationship with her brother: “Yes, he worked every nerve I had and I wanted to kick his two front teeth down his throat more than once growing up. But there were also the gently moments of our little sister/big brotherness that bonded us together. The last song Ronnie and I agreed on was Smile by Tupac and Scarface. Tupac’s intro to the song is my morning meditation for today. Missing you, Ronnie!💞💕💫 There’s gon’ be some stuff you gon’ see That’s gon’ make it hard to smile in the future But through whatever you see Through all the rain and the pain You gotta keep your sense of humor You gotta be able to smile through all this bullshit Remember that! Mmm, yeah, keep ya head up! Yeah I will keep my head up, Ronnie! 💔💕🙏🏽🙌
