One year of the Holly Fishing Pier 🎣🧡 This space has become so much more than a place to fish.
🎣 In July, the next generation of anglers cast their lines during a fishing derby with the Mendez Rec Center
☃️ In December, families gathered to celebrate the season at Santa on the Trail
🎨 In March, the site welcomed T.J. Lemanski’s 2026 TEMPO on the Trail installation, “Cenotaphs”
🪻 And this May, the first wildflowers of the season bloomed— a reminder that this space continues to grow alongside the community.

They say it takes a village, and wow did we have one. 🌎
This past Friday, as a part of our 5th annual Lake & Land Cleanup, 1,200 volunteers removed 10,551 pounds of trash from Lady Bird Lake and the Ann and Roy Butler Trail. Here’s a few snapshots from the day.
It goes without saying that efforts like this one are not possible without a lot of like-minded organizations and community members coming together with a shared mission of taking care of our great city.
