Tired of pretending weāre fine.
Tired of carrying our stories alone.
Tired of feeling unseen in a world moving too fast to stop and truly hold one another.
Thatās why I created SEEN.
Not just as a painting seriesā¦
but as a living archive of what it means to be human.
A space where grief, joy, resilience, softness, identity, heartbreak, healing, and becoming all get to exist together.
Where people who have never met somehow recognize themselves in one another.
And maybe thatās the point.
To remember we were never meant to do this alone.

This one almost disappeared entirely.
On its way to Miami Art Week 2024, Sentimental was lost in the mail for nearly six months. Countless calls to USPS laterā¦ she finally found her way home.
Maybe thatās why this piece feels mythic to me now. Like something that refused to vanish.
Thereās a softness in her. A longing. A quiet power. The kind of work that changes depending on the lightā¦ and depending on who is standing in front of it.
