Pilgrim’s Hourly Comic Day midnight That’s a wrap on Pilgrim’s hourly comic day and that’s a wrap on Pilgrim’s book Kickstarter! What an amazing whirlwind of a campaign! - We were fully funded in under 12 minutes ($5k) - We hit our first stretch goal within the first day ($12k to get hardcover books) - We hit our second stretch goal and something I almost didn’t dare to hope for (1,000 backers to record an audiobook) - We hit our final stretch goal ($60k to get Pilgrim’s paw print to sign every book) - We ended at 1457% funded and just under $73k! Plus we had an amazing digital tour, releasing interviews, comic covers, and events during every day of the campaign. And dozens of you submitted Pilgrim fan art (that I’ll be highlighting in a future post). Now the work begins! We need to finish up the full book (including 20+ brand new Pilgrim comics) and send that off to the printers. Our plan is to have everything sent off by next month, with hopefully the books arriving to us by the end of the summer. Then we’ll be signing, packaging, and shipping everything out to you! We’re hoping to have the books in your hands by the end of this year (in time for Christmas??), but in case of any delays we will be regularly updating on the Kickstarter page, so keep an eye on your emails. And of course, a huge huge HUGE thank you to all of you who supported and have been following along! This book would not have been possible without you all, so it is very much a group effort. I was invited to do a ‘cover’ comic reinterpreting one of @thetouringtest ‘s comics about rescuing Pilgrim the feral cat (Kinda like a cover song 🎶 ) Flip thru to see Elizabeth’s original comic and visit @thetouringtest page for the kickstarter to publish a hardcover book of the full story! 💙🐈‍⬛💙 I have been faithfully following the tale of this lil gray cat and it has been so fun to see it all play out in four panels at a time over the last year. Over 150 comics! You will love it! and that’s coming from me, a dog lady, who actually learned a lot about cats (and patience) from this saga 🐈‍⬛✨ Each book even comes with signed with a paw print stamp 🐾

This is a cover comic!! It’s a “cover” of a comic that Elizabeth at @thetouringtest made, the way that a musician will cover someone else’s song. (I also changed the lyrics a little, and replaced Pilgrim with my own little maniac Fennel.) I’ve been diligently following the story of them rescuing a feral cat and this particular part of the story was my absolute favorite. My wonderful friends @thetouringtest invited me to do a cover of one of their comic strips about a cat named Pilgrim. They currently have a kickstarter for their graphic novel, go check it out! (Links in their bio) I was given a choice of 4 different strips, and this one of pilgrim exploring a cow instantly jumped out to me, as I could easily imagine my good boy Bacon doing the same. There are a few original comics still available as rewards, we are SO close to reaching our final stretch goal of getting Pilgrim to “sign” every book with her lil paw (stamp), you’ve got 7 more days to share your Pilgrim fan art, and we still have a week’s worth of digital tour events going on every day until next Saturday.
