CS Tip for today.
Turn off app permissions you don’t notice
Most people only think about camera or microphone permissions but many apps quietly access other sensitive data like:
Clipboard (what you copy and paste)
Background location
Contacts
Files and storage
Some apps collect this data even when you’re not actively using them.
What to do
Go to your phone settings:
Android: Settings → Privacy → Permission Manager
iPhone:
Settings → Privacy & Security
Then review and restrict:
Location → set to “While using the app
Microphone → remove unnecessary access
Contacts → only allow trusted apps
Photos/files → limit to selected access
Why this important
Some apps track your behavior in the background
Clipboard access can expose passwords or sensitive info
Location tracking can reveal your daily patterns
You might not notice it, but your data is constantly being collected.
On newer phones, you can see which apps accessed your data recently, use that to spot suspicious behavior.
If an app doesn’t need access, don’t give it access.

Not every hacker wears a hoodie or writes code. Sometimes all it takes is psychology, timing, and one click. Stay aware.
