It’s a special edition of Ai Lao „Blackberry” Hong Cha made to commemorate 10th Anniversary of TheTea.pl that we started in 2015.
Wrappers were designed by our daughter Aleksandra Kłębik. She made a linocut with our dogs, Cypis and Marcel, sleeping and then scanned into digital form and made into complete wrapper design. We used beautiful off-white paper to make the tea look even better.
By the way: both our dogs celebrate 10th birthday in 2025 that’s why we decided to make them meaningful part of our big celebration.
When you order 14/30/50/100g – you will receive the part of th cake packed in our ziplock bag.
This wild growing black tea from Ai Lao mountain tastes like ripe blackberry cocktail.
Smooth, very sweet and aromatic. Full of fruity notes mixed with gentle maltiness and resin like nuances.
Real treat from Yunnan.
Origin: Ai Lao Shan, Yunnan, China.
Harvest: April 2025
Tea vartietal: wild growing Camellia Sinensis var. Assamica
Tea trees age: from younger to old trees. Leaves were picked in wild, natural forest.

Meet my tea: warsztat podstawowy. Prowadzący: Wojciech Woźniak
Warsztat wprowadzi uczestnika w złożony świat herbaty. Pełno w nim odmian, gatunków, rodzajów, ale i legend oraz informacji o metodach zaparzania. Podczas spotkania prowadzący opowie o prapoczątkach tradycji herbacianej w Chinach, o różnicach między herbatami zielonymi a herbatami oolong, wyjaśni dlaczego pu-erh nie powinien być nazywany herbatą czerwoną oraz czym dla Chińczyków są „nasze” herbaty czarne.
W trakcie degustacji przedstawi gatunki, które najlepiej smakują tuż po zbiorze, ale i odmiany, które – jak dobre wino – dojrzewają przez lata. W ciągu dwóch godzin podzieli się podstawową wiedzą herbacianą.
Udział w spotkaniu uporządkuje informacje i stworzy teoretyczno-smakową przestrzeń do samodzielnych eksploracji. Poziom trudności warsztatu: podstawowy. Prowadzący odpowie na wszystkie pytania, zaparzy pięć gatunków herbat – zieloną, białą, oolong, czarną, puerh.

🍁the biggest in our history Andrzej Bero @andrzejbero teaware update will happen on Friday evening. All the pieces come from exhibition we had in our studio. And it will be 100% porcelain (in different shapes and colors)
From today till Friday we are not shipping orders because we are going to Vilnius, Lithuania to enjoy early music festival Lucernalis. And to enjoy charming city too.

I know, I know… Darjeeling teas are less popular than 10-15 years ago when we were selling out all first flush before they arrived.
But I think good first flush Darjeeling is a pure and easy pleasure. Symphony of freshness where flowery and fruity notes are perfectly combined with elegant spicy bitterness.
We have so far 3 2026 Darjeeling First Flush. All organic and each one different. Gardens: Badamtam, Puttabong, Sungma.
Teas from Lingia and Selimbong tea estates will arrive in second part of May.

What a day it was💚
Saturday 25th April 2026 we opened an exhibition „57/57” with porcelain works made by Andrzej Bero.
Pieces selected for exhibition are totally amazing. From hand built (without the potter’s wheel) chawans, through amazing white teapots to more wild porcelain mixed with grog and detailed yet beautiful gongfu cha ware!
It was also „soft opening” of our tea studio as a physical shop.
To be honest…me, Milenka and Andrzej: we were so surprised that so many of you decided to come! From different areas of Poland. Kudos to our local friends. We can be proud of such supportive community here!
