Save the date! From April 8-12, 2026, TAAFI MEGA FEST returns with a bold new theme that celebrates what makes animation truly global: unity, collaboration, and creative exchange across cultures.
Rooted in Toronto’s proud motto, “Diversity is our strength,” TAAFI 2026 invites the world to experience the city’s vibrant creative mosaic through a global lens.
We’re also thrilled to spotlight our 2026 Art Director: Chelsea Mitchell, Seneca professor and the creative force behind Barbie: A Touch of Magic and The Guava Juice Show, who’s bringing this year’s postcard-inspired key art to life!

We had an amazing time at the Toronto Animation Arts Festival International (TAAFI)! TAAFI’s mission is to showcase animation arts and the creators behind it. Taafi was so inspiring! Loved hanging out with ACE alumni who are always so gracious sharing their ACE experiences. So great meeting and getting to speak to some shortlisted ACE 5 candidates. So great chatting to everyone passionate about animation and looking to learn more about ACE!
Kudos to Karen, LP, Sonia and the @thetaafi team for such a great conference and event! Really engaging with great talks and opportunities to network! Until 2027!
