I've used the following words and phrases to describe myself; Indigenous, Gay, Two Spirit, widowed after sharing 37 years with the love of my life, disabled, senior/elder, community organizer, artist, fashionisto... but none of them truly inform you about what makes me me.
This is what is important to me, and I believe it is more illustrative...

Was looking for a picture on my camera and came upon this one. It made me smile and smiles need to shared. My first ever tbt pic. Me and my friend @hikmet23 at a @nuwuart art event. I just think it is a swell picture. I looking forward to reading Hikmet's upcoming book about land art!
One of the great things about Las Vegas is I get to be a gallery docent at the Nuwu Art Gallery and Community Center.
The gallery is open tonight, Thursday, March 12, 4 - 8 Pm. The exhibit, Healing the Heart, celebrates the power of plants.
There are 9 opportunities remaining to view this group show of 17 Las Vegas artists.
Over my shoulder is "Do You See," by Sol Martinez. Fawn Douglas has curated an awesome show of prints, paintings, sculptures, textiles, electronic display, and two installions. You don't want to miss this!

What could it be looking at?
The final "This is Not a Small Voice poetry workshop at the Nuwuart Art Gallery and Community Center. The workshop is happening in the middle of the "Healing the Heart" art exhibit. The exhibit continues till March 28. Gallery hours are Thursday and Friday, 4 - 8pm, Saturday 12 - 4pm. Don't miss it!

If you've seen this used in real life. You are old. Circa 1950's Pinball Machine, one of the beautiful machines inside the Pinball Museum in Las Vegas.

When I was younger, I would go to the Uptown Lanes Bowling Center in South Minneapolis, rack up games on the pinball machines, and then sell them to the less skilled players.
I was also a sought-after partner for Foosball.
I got to revisit those memories at @pinballvegas .
My only complaint about the pinball museum is the trump fortune telling animitron near the front door. It is supposed to be satirical, but my god, I can't escape that orange pedophile...
I will still go back with headphones so I won't be forced to listen to his logorrhea.
