Every few months, something is “dead.”
The algorithm. Reels. Carousels. Hashtags. Your will to post. All of it, apparently.
But nothing is actually dying, it’s just shifting!! #Hallelujah
Think about it like going back to a restaurant you used to love… ordering the same thing… and it doesn’t hit the same.
Did it get worse? No, your taste evolved.
Organic social works exactly like that.
Platforms adapt to how people actually behave so what they watch, save, share, skip.
If your content doesn’t move with that, it starts feeling invisible.
Not because the platform is out to get you, but because the standard got higher and you kept doing the same thing.
Reels aren’t dying. Carousels aren’t dying. Nothing disappeared.
You just can’t coast hopes and dreams as a strategy in 2025.
