This gigantic 50 foot long dead stegosaurus for JURASSIC WORLD: THE FALLEN KINGDOM, was one of the largest sculptures we’ve ever created.
Starting with a digital model, we used a combo of hand sculpting and foam outputting in sections that could be more easily shipped, then assembled on location in Hawaii.
Swipe to see bts pics of the styrofoam sculpt which we covered in foam latex skins cast from molds. @wayneandersondesigns sculpted a wall of Dino skin for a flat scale mold, but we also used the original graboid molds from TREMORS for extra old school love.
The project was supervised by @h2originals and included @kreaturekid@ayumi.fx@jon_k_miller@saratheterra Mike Larrabee, Garth Winkless, Dave Penikas and tons more who are invited to give themselves a shout out!
