✨ Why We Do What We Do ✨
This lovely new client came in feeling disheartened — no one had truly listened to what she needed.
Her hair had been over-processed, and despite asking for a result that suited her, she’d been given half-head highlights again and again, leaving her with a heavy band of colour through the top and dark buildup through the back — a two-tone look she didn’t want.
She felt salons were chasing creative looks, not working with her as an individual.
Stuart took the time to really listen, assess her hair properly, and begin a healthy hair journey. It took colour correction, a full-head approach, and a clear plan — and she left the salon with happy tears, loving her new colour and finally feeling heard.

Yes, I may have trained as a colourist and I spent 23 years working with a company that specialised in it, but that never took away my passion for cutting and styling. 🙏

🔹Stuart is a leading colourist within the hairdressing industry, specialising in bespoke colouring.
He began his career at Vidal Sassoon at the age of 15 where he enjoyed a successful 23 years working for the brand.
He was based at the Vidal Sassoon London Academy as the Colour Director of Colour Education, which has enabled him to travel all over the world to teach and participate in international shows.
Stuart has been a Global Ambassador for Proctor & Gamble, a senior educator for Wella on their Master Colour Programme, the media face and spokesperson for Vidal Sassoon ‘At Home’ hair colours.
Stuart’s colour work has been featured in numerous magazines, such as fashion Bible Vogue and Campaigns for designer Alexander McQueen.

* Be able to assist with shampooing and other hair-washing techniques.

* Be able to perform simple administrative tasks., such as answering the phone and booking appointments.
