This weather is practically calling for a proper roast this weekend, and Iād highly recommend @thestoneham on Portland Road, long known for delivering a top notch Sunday kids roasts

The pub is spacious with a relaxed, family friendly atmosphere. They serve all the traditional roasts youād expect, alongside some excellent sides, the truffle cauliflower cheese in particular was a standout.

If roasts arenāt your thing, they also offer a great selection of classic sourdough pizzas. We didnāt have them on this visit, but theyāve always gone down well in the past and are a brilliant option for kids who prefer pizza over a roast (although the kidsā roasts are very good too and have always been a hit with ours)

Iāve always been a big fan of this place, the food offering has been consistently strong. If you havenāt been yet, itās well worth checking out soon
