Since FYWROK Festival and Alex Hagen convinced us to play one last show — now over a dozen shows ago — we’ve been overwhelmed by the support and dedication still out there for The Riffs. We never take that for granted.
We thought long and hard about releasing new music. We truly believe these songs not only stand alongside our original records, but may be some of our best.
This single is for all the kamikazes. A tribute to those we’ve lost and a celebration of those still here. For all of us who can’t escape the music or the streets that shaped our lives.

Found this shirt and laminate from 2002 when we toured with Slaughter and the Dogs. Beltones did the tour up to Philadelphia and then went home. We jumped on in New Jersey. We grew up in Portland, we had not idea what the east coast and Midwest were like in February. Been there a lot but never in the winter. Never been so cold in my life. The day off in New York we played a surprise show at Manitobas. Really good few days in New York. Like always.
