There’s something about seeing something this familiar presented like it belongs in a gallery setting that makes you pause for a second longer than expected. You go from “I’ll just grab one” to fully analyzing it like you’re about to write a review.
And then you eat it. Immediately. And then you grab another. No restraint. Not notes.

At some point this stopped being dinner and became a situation.
You can usually tell by the way no one is sitting properly anymore.
People half standing, half leaning, fully committed to whatever is happening in front of them. The table technically still exists, but no one is treating it like a formal table.
This is the version of a dinner where structure loosens just enough to make it interesting. No one announces it. It just….shifts. 🌿
