My experience differs from many of the Las Vegas Wedding Planners. I didn't go to school for this and I didn't think to do this after planning my own wedding. I just learned a lot of skills through being a foster mom.
From creating and juggling timelines with 4-10 kids in a home, effective communication, fostering relationships, thinking on the go, and being able to improvise and pivot on the fly to curating and celebrating moments... this is where the skills were refined.
This is a late post, but here's to all the Mom's, foster moms, and those that step in in any capacity. I know many things were rooted out of motherhood and so you should be proud. You did or are doing this for them. I hope that you're not only celebrated over the weekend, but those in your life continue to celebrate and praise you throughout the year.

Yes, this is True. I love all my couples that I get to work with side by side throughout the planning process. And to get that love back before even emailing for that review that every vendor longs for... myself, along with the vendors that made this happen all got a shoutout this evening from Tiffanny and Brandon.
Venues may come with coordinators. But hiring an outside person to walk along side with you and that is truly for you, processing those decisions, giving you those reminders, being that emotional support, just hits different on so many levels. We went back and forth on so many things, we even made quite a few last minute adjustments or add ons all the way up to the morning of. And to be seen like how we were seen that night was truly unexpected and def reminds you that what we do as planners whether we come in halfway or are there from the start, that we are worth it.
