A day I have been dreading has finally come - it is with the utmost sadness that I announce Huggo, my first dog and the love of my life, passed away early morning of May 5 at age 17 years. He changed my life in every way for the better - a perfect dog from puppyhood to old age. The most adorable nimble genius in the world. Always thinking, assessing - untrickable! Solved puzzles, escaped any fixture like a Houdini. And loved to be with me at all times. A world traveler, he accompanied me to London, Nice, Monaco, Amsterdam, Montreal, Quebec City, Winnipeg, Vancouver, Providence, Denver, Detroit, Columbus & Washington DC. He was the reason I became an animal lover and went to vet school. Any human in my life knew theyād at best be second to Huggo - he was my #1. I hope I gave him the best life any being could have, as he certainly did that for me.ā¤ļøš¶ā¤ļø Huggo Ip 2/2/09-5/5/26
I am elated that my first furbaby Huggo turns 17 years old today! š„¹ He has been a perfect pup since the beginning - the cutest nimble genius ever. Words cannot describe how much I love him. These days heās a little wobbly and too grumpy to play with his new young siblings Miley & Tyler but he recently completed a 5 hour hike with us and can still run fast enough to be hard to catch when he wants! My ultimate wish is that he lives forever but we savor one day at a time, as each day with him is a gift! š„°ššāØš¶āØā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø (shoutout to @timesize without whom I never would have gotten Huggo š„°)
