This record has been a little under a year in the making. We started around February tracking in Alyssa’s apartment, and since then have worked together by my sending her mixes and masters for feedback and approval.

For those who might find it interesting, Tom T. Hall heard this song from the British Invasion band Manfred Mann, and said it was the best Bluegrass song ever written. The road is often symbolic of life, this has been the case for me. Presently, the road has been less symbolic of life, and more life itself. The road has changed a bit recently, Hayden returned to Nashville, but I am still out on here playing shows and doing the darn thing with just this three piece band: me, myself, and I.
The Buckwild Tour has been appropriately named, and I will be continuing on with it. There are still a few upcoming dates, and I look forward to whatever they have in store.

It’s been a solid two weeks out here on the road, we’ve played seven shows so far through North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia and tonight we’re playing in Cumberland, Maryland. (I’m terrible at advertising shows, but the dates are all on my website).
Currently, we’re at a laundromat getting some laundry done, so I actually have time to post.
