@silkworm.music@elsewherespace last night. This was my first time seeing them as a full band. I had only seen their memorial show in Chicago at Touch and Go Fest in 2006. I’m sure Tim would disagree but last night was a great show. A band who hasn’t played in 20 years finally came back AND with Joel Phelps who adds so many great embellishments on guitar and vocally. @therealcome opened who I had never seen or listened to and who were also great—I’ll be digging into their catalog this week! It was really a special night.

@tmbgofficial is my second most seen band clocking in somewhere around 25. My first show was at Variety Arts Centre (RIP) in the East Village w Boss Hog opening in 1992. I haven’t seen them in 20 years. So a few old friends and I saddled up and made the trek to @bearsvilletheater to see the opening night of the tour. It was super fun and the venue is really nice. It’s also extremely hot. I hope they have AC for those summer shows!
Heading back to Barcelona to catch our flight home tomorrow l. We went to a Flamenco show last night and It was just amazing. Lots of great food eaten and memories made on this trip!
