We ALL need people!! The whole intro! CelebrateYOU 2026 is already going down in history as one of the most inspiring community events we’ve ever experienced. We came together to celebrate ourselves in every season of life , showing up authentically, supporting one another, and honoring the journeys we’re all walking. We shared what’s happening throughout our community, highlighted incredible nonprofit work, heard from amazing speakers , and reminded one another of the power of uplifting and serving our most vulnerable. We celebrated the success and continued expansion of Fostering Hearts FL and reflected on a truth that could not be clearer: people need people to survive, heal, and thrive. The conversations, the connection, the love, and the vision for what’s possible still have me on a high. I hope you enjoy this shift that is happening, not just for us, but around us, within us, and because of us. The world changes when people choose to show up for themselves and for each other. Powerful event 2 weeks ago, @celebrateyouevent 2026 @tampagardenclub . We reminded others that we need people to thrive, it’s just facts! We need people to do life with, and we need to show up for others especially our foster youth and young adults so they feel love, seen and heard!! @fosteringheartsfl is creating the space where people come together and become a support system for our children, everywhere!! Addicted to impact!! This week was one of the most powerful and uplifting of 2026!! We kicked it off on Sunday, April 26th at @celebrateyouevent bringing nearly 300 incredible humans together to celebrate themselves in whatever season they’re in, while creating real awareness and impact for @fosteringheartsfl . From nonprofit spotlights to powerful speakers and the most inspiring community (plus our magical teachers), the energy in that room was something truly special. I had the honor of hosting and pouring my heart into creating an experience that made a difference, and it was pure magic. Then @e7campos and I had the privilege of hosting an immersive luncheon with almost 300 people for @madis_movement , our amazing friend @effiesantos__ vision coming to life. This experience opened hearts and minds—highlighting the real challenges aged-out foster youth face and reminding us that true change happens through genuine human connection. It was deeply moving, and I’m beyond grateful to have helped guide a room committed to making real impact. Being part of Madi’s vision and Effie’s beautiful heart is something I can’t fully put into words, but I do know this: I’m so inspired, so grateful, and so ready to keep doing this work together. Our 4th annual @celebrateyouevent 2026 was the best one yet!! I’m still on an energy high from the entire day!! Grateful for the attendees, organizations, speakers and dream team, and my family that showed up to connect and create awareness for @fosteringheartsfl !! Our mission at Fostering Hearts FL @fosteringheartsfl truly began at Friends of Joshua House @friendsofjoshuahouse , thanks to the incredible @dedegrundel , who trusted us with the opportunity to serve their youth through our education programs. We are deeply grateful for your belief in our hearts, our vision, and our leadership in education. Our safe classroom and GED program continue to thrive within the amazing nonprofit Joshua House. Partnering with such a purpose-driven team has been an absolute blessing. Thank you for hosting such a meaningful luncheon, one that reminds us all how vital a loving home is for every child, and how beautifully Joshua House provides that foundation. Fostering Hearts FL had an intimate gathering with the magical unicorns that make this mission run everyday. This team shows up with knowledge, compassion and consistency, serving the 95+ foster youth that have come to us to support. The educators have made my vision come to life and I am forever grateful to them. We would not be here without them (missing a few in the pic) and our amazing partners that understand it takes a village to show support for all our youth.
