Hello! I’m looking to do a trip to Kwazulu-Natal to help give/create video content to a nonprofit called Zimele. They help empower women to get educated and provide for their families and communities! Really great work out there and I have a lot to raise so any support would be amazing! If you are unable to donate I totally understand and ask that you share this post! :) Thanks for your support! Link in bio!
Life Update: I havent posted in a while and a lot has happened. I graduated from college as a film major and made a feature film as part of the lighting team before I left.
I’m also excited to announce I will be starting a new job as a videographer for the Salvation Army in New York. I’ll be covering missions/testimonials etc. from all over the northeast region of the US (plus Puerto Rico).
God has taken me one a wild path to get here and I’m so very grateful for the friends and experiences I had along the way. Heres to more crazy years! 🎉
"My name's Jacob, and I'm a senior at Huntington University studying film production.
I transferred here fall of 2019 after dropping my education major at the University of Southern Maine. I found that film is a great way to educate vs the traditional classroom setting, and I wanted to reach a broader audience.
I chose this school 1000 miles away in Indiana because it's a somewhat affordable Christian film school and there are surprisingly great connections here.
What I love about HU right now is I’m able to be a mentor to underclassmen as well as learn from the industry professionals that I work with.
I just finished being the Director of Photography (Camera/Lighting) and VFX supervisor on my senior thesis film 'Captain' and had a blast! When I graduate I hope to maybe work for a nonprofit or small production house anywhere that needs me 🙂"

Say hello to Captain! A scifi short film inspired by portal and firefly! We are doing a lot of wild new stuff in this one like spaceship miniatures, practical stars, and building a whole spaceship set in the studio. If you would like to help out, you can share this post or donate on our indiegogo! A donation of 20$ or more gets your name in the credits! Link in bio.
I’ve had an amazing three weeks working on the art department for this movie trailer “Glen Frank” set in 1972. So thankful I was able to meet so many cool ppl and take on new challenges :)
My bowtie is crooked but I’m so amazed at the generosity of our donors. With the help of them and our amazing crew, “Honest Living” was able to take home best Junior thesis film at this years Forester Media Awards! :) Thank you to all who donated and supported us!
