Yup it’s happening again. Every two years or so, Jaggedy makes a brief appearance on stage and then disappears into those misty clouds again. Like, her fifteen minutes of fame. If you happen to be in Malmö on Wednesday, you can be among the lucky few to catch a few of her latest pop songs. And some other cool acts.
I came to Darmstadt to play Rainforest VI and to compose. The latter was cut short abruptly due to an incident and the following repercussions. I did not think that Darmstädter Ferienkurse would be the context I would experience censorship of artistic expression first hand.
The photo shows our final installation, ”Retirement”. I guess we retired the avant-garde.

I’m in Darmstadt for the Ferienkurse. This was my favourite from today’s opening concerts, @alexandre_babel ’s Snare Counterpoint. Tomorrow we’ll start working on David Tudor’s Rainforest IV.
