Adedamola stared blankly at his phone, scrolling through the comments on his latest song. As an artist, he was used to receiving feedback from his fans, but lately, the hate comments had been piling up. “You no sabi singgg”. One commented, and many others.
Adedamola felt a knot in his stomach. He had always poured his heart and soul into his music, hoping to connect with his fans on a deeper level. But it seemed like no matter how hard he tried, there were always people who didn’t understand him.
Just as he was about to give in to his doubts, his few friends showed up luring him to attend their party happening at night to cheer him up.
At the party, Adedamola let loose and forgot about his worries. He danced, laughed, and even sang along to his own songs. For a few hours, he was able to forget about the hate comments and just enjoy the moment.
As the night wore on, he was surprised with an artwork of himself. He also realized that he didn’t need everyone’s approval to validate his art. He was making music for himself, and for the fans who appreciated him.
