Thank you to my dad for sending me this photo from the WAY back machine! I'm on the left (with blonde hair), my late Uncle Peter, my cousin Johnathan, and my Dad @richardnoblephoto , who has decided to join IG to share his creative history with the rest of the online world.
Today, I learned of the passing of Sebastièn; one of the most amazing cats I have ever known. I met him at the Legis office at the LAEC back in 2019 while working on a show. There was a sign in the window that read, "Free fuzz therapy," so, of course, I had to inquire within. The staff allowed me in, and this CHUNK of fluffy love was lying on a box. He was so peaceful and sweet. I went straight for the belly, and he rolled over and started purring. That was when I met Marnye (and later, Larry). Every day, during our break, i would come over and snuggle the "cuddle puddle." They would joke that he was most active when he would hear me call his name, and he would come trotting down the hallway to see me. When we wrapped that show, Marnye presented me with a framed photo of me holding Sebastian and the while office had signed it with personalized notes; she even shaved his foot frathers so he could do a "paw-print". Little did I know that my love of Sebastian would lead to a long-time friendship with Marnye and Larry.
I described him as an "ambassador" cat. If people didn't like cats, he could sway their opinion. If you loved cats, you fell in love with him.
He was the "Love Loaf", the "cuddle puddle", he was my buddy.
Thank you, Marnye, for inviting me into your office and life...all because of a chubby, fluffy, overly lazy cat named Sebastian.
To Sebastièn, if you could read, know that II loved you from the moment I met you. I will miss you, buddy.

@cosmo.mina Amina "Squid" Schuler was my right hand through this whole thing; from sculpting vampire teeth to the various scars and then running the silicone pieces, she rose to every occasion and really shined! She was one of the best lab techs I have worked with in a long time and a promising makeup artist!
@ampfxstudios Alex was there, able to come in on rush calls to help finish some things in the shop as well as cover me on set when I was not able to be there. A rockstar.
@alexandermakeup Other Alex came in to help us finish all of the vampire teeth that needed to be finished with paint and gums, etc... You were a real pro and a great help!
and Harriette Landau (social media unknown). She was my boss on Sarah Connor Chronicles and now I was able to bring her on this. She did double duty, helping me cover set AND helping @indigowylde on the beauty side.

This was a very fun "demon-wound" that was done on the fly. It was to represent where the finger tips of the demon actually touched his skin causing the "source" of the decay. I incorporated UV into this makeup to give it an "other-worldly" feel when we applied the blacklight.

So...I have a bee now...her name is Barb. I had brought her to work because i rescued her from certain doom as she has a broken wing. This was a tiktok a friend @ephyavenue of mine took in our area of me handling her. She has a new enclosure and VERY happy...she even got the zoomies!

When called to do the pilot of the "Mindy Kalling Show", I was asked to give the Barista really gnarly teeth. Now, for context, when I showed up at call, I was just going to be painting the teeth. After breakfast, I was told that the paint was not enough, we needed dentures!
They had a runner go and get all the materials I needed to do a dental impression, as well as the teeth materials (They did understood that this stuff is not part of a "day-checking" kit).
Thanks to the @bjnovak and @dankaplow for making that happen!
In a matter of hours, I had done her impression, made the positives (1630), and hand-formed the dentures using teeth from Davis Dental and Flex-acryl as well as PPI Tooth coloring to finish them off.
This is what made it in the show!
