What a consolation prize….Sean Gathright’s lawyer called an expert to speak on how sparing his life could be beneficial for the prison that houses him. She mentioned that he was 18 at the time of the hit and is still capable of “growth, maturity, accountability, and change”. My Take: There was an option that was better but he can’t be blamed for protecting himself.
