They say excellence is not an act, but a habit. This is twice as nice, Top 50 edition. 🏆
I’m humbled and honored to be named to Women We Admire’s esteemed list of Top 50 Women Leaders of Virginia Beach for a second consecutive year. God is the greatest. James 2:17 🙏🏾
Baby J would be so proud. Aiming higher everyday. 🫶🏾
Started this morning with a grateful heart.
Yesterday’s Go Red for Women Luncheon was completely sold out — and my first as Executive Director. I’m so proud of my team for bringing this powerful day to life.
I’m inspired by every survivor who shared her story, every caregiver who felt seen, and every woman we honored. Their courage is the heartbeat of this movement.
Let’s continue to Go Red for Women. ♥️
I’m still on cloud 9 after hosting the 3rd Annual Women in Media Luncheon; the event filled my heart in every way. Bringing together the leading women shaping our region’s stories is always an honor but what we created in that room was something deeper.
We laughed, we cried, and we held space for real conversations about women’s heart health and the personal challenges faced in such a demanding, forward‑facing industry.
I’m endlessly grateful to every woman who showed up with openness, vulnerability, and strength. And a heartfelt thank‑you to our incredible vendors whose talent and partnership helped make this experience so meaningful.
Here’s to a new chapter filled with more magic and meaningful moments together in the New Year ♥️✨
Sports, scholarship and student-athletes. The Hampton Roads Youth Foundation (@hryf757 ) remains the premier organization in Hampton Roads making a difference at a high level for the next generation of playmakers and change makers.
Our winning formula, legacy, credibility and creativity bring a unique experience to every single athlete we encounter and I’m so proud of the way we continue to level up. Next year we’re going 30 for 30 😎
Thanks to all who help bring the magic of this weekend to life and for all the personal support, it doesn’t go unnoticed! 🫶🏾
A Valentine’s Day event with…
♥️ 400+ women (and men) rallying for women’s heart health
♥️ Laura Coates as the keynote speaker (because she embodies grace, class, her own survivor story, beauty, brains and I wasn’t going to stop until we got her)
♥️ A survivor fashion show (because they are the heartbeat of what we do and I’ve always wanted to produce one of these)
♥️ Surprise guest, 11-year-old Vada fresh from the Tamron Hall show who saved her dad from a massive heart attack using CPR
♥️ My sweet mama in attendance
♥️ And literally so much more, you just had to be there.
So proud of my team for doing what we do best. I’d say the American Heart Association Hampton Roads Go Red for Women Luncheon was a success 🫶🏾 #HRGoRed
