We are beyond thrilled and honoured to share that we have won the Digital Deal Award as part of the State of the ART(ist) initiative by @arselectronica , co-funded by the European Union! 🥳🎉 In the words of the jury: “The Queer Muslim Project (TQMP) serves as a leading force in Asia’s LGBTQIA+ community, connecting over 70,000 individuals globally via digital and cultural platforms. It empowers underrepresented voices by challenging harmful stereotypes and increasing visibility for queer and diverse identities. TQMP not only confronts but also subverts oppressive usage of technology to safeguard freedom of expression. The Digital Deal Award recognizes TQMP’s pioneering use of digital storytelling to drive social change, bolster civil society resilience, and shift perceptions of marginalized communities. The jury acknowledges TQMP’s role in reshaping the digital landscape, advocating for human rights, and advancing cultural diplomacy through innovative digital media practices.” Our deepest gratitude to our partners and our incredible community of artists and storytellers whose stories and dreams fuel our narrative and cultural change work. 🌈 🔗 More on the LINK IN OUR BIO #arselectronica #stateoftheartist #creativeeurope

At @inbritish , we brought together #FiveFilmsForFreedom and the launch of Echoes Beyond the Stage, marking four years of Language is a Queer Thing 🌈 and its growing cultural impact across India and the UK. The evening featured poetry by Sara Haque moving between wit and pop culture through alt British boy bands, and Rachit Sharma, whose work traced the textures of Delhi’s rich ecology. 🌿 On screen, the five films opened up stories of love, school crushes, transitioning, and football, each offering a glimpse into the many ways queer lives are lived and expressed across borders. 🌍 @britisharts @britishfilminstitute #LoveIsLove #LGBTQIA #EqualRights
