To my first love, Good morning, light of my life. You know that for me, Mother’s Day is not a single square on a calendar, it has been a daily celebration since the moment I drew my first breath. Yet, as the world pauses today to honor what I hold dear every hour, I want to say, Happy Mother’s Day to the woman who is my foundation. You are the architect of my spirit. You didn’t just raise me, you poured yourself into me, drop by drop, until I was filled with a reflection of your strength. Through you, the love of God became more than a story, it became a living, breathing reality. Because of your hands, I was reared into a servant’s heart. You taught me that to lead is to love, and to love is to give. I am profoundly humbled that the Creator chose you specifically for me. I live in a state of perpetual gratitude, forever anchored in the joy that you were the chosen vessel to usher me into this world. My love for you resides in a place beyond the reach of language, it is a debt I can never fully repay, a feeling I can never fully explain. Thank you for my life, my faith, and your heart. I love you beyond measure. 🏩🤞🏾

An absolute marvel of an immersive art installation by none other than my nephew, @pierres.online . The man doesn't just create, he defies classification entirely. He’s so far beyond the standard labels that we’re going to need to invent a brand new category just to house his genius. I’ve always been a devotee of the arts, but his work is a different breed of magic, it’s a tether to the sublime that consistently pulls my perspective toward the stars. My mind goes places late at night, that's when I am my most creative. After this experience, I wanted to write. I write also about my daughter when she does creative things and I see me in her. I write about it. Those I save. But, this one I'll share about tonight. A Poetic Rendition of " Where The Light Falls" In a world of echoes, he speaks in light, A master of spaces that bloom in the mind. Pierre weaves a realm where the senses take flight, Leaving the mundane and the measured behind. No bracket can hold him, no title can bind, A genre of one, where the spirit climbs, higher, For art is the spark, but his vision is fire. 💙🤞🏾

Purpose Over Play, I have a New Standard and Basketball is a vehicle, not the destination. While the game and coaching come to me as second nature, my "why" runs deeper than the hardwood. I do this because I’ve witnessed, firsthand, how sports can fundamentally rewrite a person's trajectory. For twelve years, I’ve operated at the absolute pinnacle, leading the premier private school for girls' basketball in the DMV and being recognized by Sports Illustrated as the second-best program in the history of the sport, trailing only Christ the King. I have reached the mountain top; I have nothing left to prove to the record books. My commitment now is fueled by a higher calling. God has afforded me a perspective and a level of life experience that sets me apart. I am here to bridge the gap for these athletes, helping them navigate the complexities of life through the game. My focus is, and will always be, on the girls. To be clear: there are coaches out there doing great work, but my path is distinct. Recently, when told I was "tooting my own horn," my response was simple: "I'm glad you can hear it." The days of playing small to soothe the insecurities of adults are over. If you feel a separation, it’s intentional. I have surrendered my life to the service of our youth, and because my intentions are rooted in their growth and God’s purpose, the opinions of critics hold no weight. It’s about the kids. It’s about the Call. #KidsAndGod #DPAWeComing 💙🤞🏾

Think MJ was just a mid-range specialist who couldn't handle the modern deep ball? Think again. In "Two Three or Not Two Three," we’re taking the critics to math class. We break down the cold, hard data of Michael Jordan’s perimeter evolution, from his early "non shooter" days to his blistering 49% shooting in the '92 Finals. If you think the GOAT wouldn't dominate today's space and pace era, you haven't done the research. Class is in session at ConKrete Playground; it’s time to separate the myths from the masterpieces. #conkreteplayground ConKretePlayground.com

"THE COMPOSITION OF PRIME" He smells of Teakwood and fresh mahogany, a fragrance that lingers in the gym after the final whistle and settles in the quiet corners of a well curated room. He is the architect of a different kind of game, where the wins aren't just on the hardwood, but in the grit he mirrors for a generation of girls, finding their own strength in his shadow. A traveler who didn't just see the world, but let it change him. He traded the noise for the stillness of a cold pressed morning, honoring the temple, grounded by a Faith that requires no shout, only a steady walk. He is the "Cheat Code" and the quiet student, a gentleman by choice, a creative by nature. Not just existing, but evolving a life lived in black and white, with the soul of a thousand colors. To all my Georgetown University folks, that flat basketball on my table is a permanent fixture for a reason. It represents the very first conversation I had with Big John. Of all the years spent in that program, that day one message remains the most powerful. #HoyaSaxa I also love art. That ball is art!

The best investment you can make is in your health (and your family’s!). 🥕 Using my Hurom daily now, originally bought it to make juice for my mom, but I couldn’t resist joining in. The quality is unmatched. Shop it now via the link in my bio! 🥤 #Juicing #HealthyLiving #Hurom. The green juice is green apples, cilantro, parsley, cucumber, celery and ginger. Good for liver and kidney. The other is strawberry , pineapple and ginger. Just my fave. What’s your favorite juice combo? 🍎🥦"
