Dear Diary : They say the cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears, or the sea. Dear Diary: The Met gala has been raining on my birthday parade & cutting my celebratory getaways short for 20 years now ( YUP, that's how long I've been doing this- I.E "The Devil Wears Prada" came out after my first year in fashion & let's just say a day in MY life back then made the movie look like a walk in the park lol, more on that later, for now you can just google it) so this time I wised up and instead of booking an exotic carribean beach getaway, cough cough, I took my babies to the @soundviewgreenport for a quick but spectacular week of RNR overlooking the beautiful Long Island Sound. Instead of a fancy birthday cake, I got a homemade confetti donut ( the best donut I've eve had btw silversandshotel @the_fish_arm #NOOKIES) and instead of a boyfriend I had baby Love, my 2 year old toddler as my hot date & my birthday entourage consisted of two whole 3lb Chihuahuas
( not pictured) instead of my very very missed & loved family & best friends ( the hotel is dog friendly which is 👌). The moral of the story is, the universe doesn't always give you exactly what you want or wished for ( then or now) but it will always, and I mean ALWAYS gives you exactly just what you need, when you need it. So buckle up & enjoy the ride. Cheers to 20 more 🥳💃🥂 🎂
Dear Diary : No matter where we are us #Moms truly never get a break so why not pull your hair out this #Mothersday overlooking the Long Island Sound ?! No but really, being a Mom is the hardest, most self-less beautiful gift that life could ever give you that also happens to truly suck most of the time ( sorry not sorry) so go ahead mama's, don't feel guilty, book the resy, put on the fancy dress, take ALL the photos, yell into the pillow, cry into the champagne, laugh to yourself AND do ALL the things that make you smile and do them for YOU. And for those of us who don't really get to ask for alone time/help/breaks just remember your joy, no matter how big or small is what makes their little world feel like magic. Seize every opportunity you get to make your life, however crazy & chaotic, just a little bit more magical too 🎩✨️

Dear Diary : Fun Fact, New Years is my most favorite holiday, and December is by far my favorite month. A very expensive pyschic once told me I'd meet the love of my life in December... I just had no idea that THAT kind of love would come pint sized - TWICE! Cheers to getting the kind of love you deserve & need when the time is right.... but just in case, decided not to temp fate & as if eating those Latino grapes at midnight for the past 43 years wasn't enough (thanks mom) i did it UNDER the table this time cause tik tok said this will bring me my one true love lol so 😅 ( also threw rice at the roof and took my suitcase around the block- soooo Mexican lmao) #HappyNewYear #2026
Dear Diary : MOST of the time, I feel like
a terrible mother/human but everyday, rain/shine/ or snow, I metaphorically shovel shiz up hill for ALL my kids (furry & not🐕🐕🙍🙅🏽♀️) with a facetune smile on my face even when I just want to lay in bed & cry /frown 😭😅 I also manage to FaceTime friends, book trips, snag quality skin care, work full-time, take their photos, cook, clean, order Uber eats & snap my selfies along the way as proof of life for my own Mom who is constantly worrying that I'm doing too much with too little help and for my Dad to show that I didn't skip arm day despite the lack of sleep & one too many beers shown in my stories lol 💪 🤳🍻 Moral of the story, #Momlife is hard AF, I'm far from perfect & I may not ever get the #MOMMY thing right but I will move mountains for my babies & stop for prosecco, balloons, beauty products, photo ops & fireworks along the way
