A dynamic two-acts project exploring glass as a living and poetic material.
🐙May 21st-July 16th🦀
Glass is celebrated in its most domestic and ironic dimension, between light, form, and playful creativity.
🦀 Maria Grazia Rosin lives and works in Venice.
She graduated under the guidance of Emilio Vedova at the Academy of Fine arts in Venice.
In 1992, she began collaborating with the Master Glass Blowers in Murano, producing her first artworks in glass. This experience led her to broaden the visionary bi-dimensional concepts she had explored in her large scale paintings and embrace the three-dimensional potential that glass offered. Today, glass is the focus of her uniquely probing experimentation.
👉🏼Her work is in the permanent collection of Corning Museum of Glass, New York; Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh; Kunst Museum, Düsseldorf; and Murano Glass Museum, Italy.
Rosin was the 2015 recipient of the “Glass in Venice” prize awarded annually by the Veneto Institute of the Sciences, Letters and the Arts to designate the Best International Artist of the Year.

Marco Lanza, “Ricreazione #60”, 2024, vernacular photographs, 100x100 cm
Marco Lanza’s work, born from the purchase of thousands of loose vernacular photographs, developed with the observation of each single image through a mask with a square hole. Following the lines of the new selection, he cut the photographs to obtain new works, literally extracted from the originals. A reinterpretation that acts on the material, modifying it forever.
A recreation that takes place both on the selected part and on what remains, an apparent waste that becomes an open work, endowed with infinite interpretative possibilities.

Back in Venice for a Celebration of Glass…
Maria Grazia Rosin, a master of rock-like, pulsating, mirrored forms inspired by octopuses, cuttlefish, and deep-sea creatures, remains deeply attentive to the environment that hosts her work, placing it with grace and sensitivity in complete harmony with the palace.

Back in Venice for a Celebration of Glass…
Tristano di Robilant’s sculptures are characterized by harmonious yet enigmatic forms, suspended in space, light and transparent. These elements are essential to understanding the artist’s poetics, which is rooted in a constant tension between the solidity of matter and its apparent weightlessness.

‘A Tangled Tale’, a solo exhibition of Marcel·la Barceló, is now open in Milan!
Water is a key element in Marcel•la Barceló’s work. It flows through, seeps into and liquefies forms. A primordial, ambivalent and unstable element, it serves both as a visual motif and a conceptual principle that runs through her pictorial practice. A source of life as much as a force of destruction, water is conceived as a primordial matrix: we come from it, we carry it within us, and yet it remains an environment in which we cannot live. This juxtaposition is fundamental to the artist’s practice.
