Brandon ran a marathon in his hospital gown to help us bring light to the darkness of cancer.     Brandon Throop was diagnosed with stage‑3 non‑Hodgkin lymphoma just a month after his second child was born. Thanks to the care he received at The Princess Margaret, he’s now in remission. Wanting to do something to give back, Brandon ran a marathon in his hospital gown, raising over $121,000 to help Carry TheFire for groundbreaking cancer research and care.     Thanks to the efforts of our community of supporters, we’re pushing back the shadow of cancer every day. A donation to The Princess Margaret fuels groundbreaking discoveries in early detection, innovative treatments and comprehensive care that are changing lives and giving hope to patients and their families. Whether they offered reassurance during a difficult moment, celebrated milestones alongside you, or simply made you feel less alone, nurses play an important role in so many cancer journeys. If a nurse at The Princess Margaret has gone above and beyond for you or a loved one, consider making a donation in their honour. Your tribute will not only recognize their impact, but will also help fund life-saving cancer research and care. Donate to Honour Your Cancer Hero today. 🔗 Link in bio.
