We’re partnering up with the @thetoollibrary and inviting you into the garden for a series of workshops. Kicking things off, we’re diving into all things spring.
Participants will walk away with a bit more confidence when it comes to opening their garden for the season. We’ll go over propagation, a crash course on spring ephemerals, seed starting, the ecology behind the magic and so much more.

A little note for Mother’s Day offerings- I’ll have preorders up on the site through the weekend. An assortment of the best of the season for your moms, grams, fav teachers, sisters, pals, etc. Orders will be available for pickup at our studio in University District on Saturday and Sunday, just choose which day you’d like to swing by when you place your order.

In the meantime I’ll be stuffing the cooler with more specialty tulips, budding branches, foraged goods, little spring jewels & some special blooms from the best damn growers in Western New York. Hi!! Just a quick little post & PSA since I’m getting some last minute messages. I am not doing Valentine’s Day offerings this year.
It’s been an intentionally slow start to the year. Working on home projects, on a warpath with a rabbit that’s eating my garden, learned to make tortellini & I’m really hunkering into hibernation mode... also just not a lot to meaningfully contribute with the current state of the shitstorm we’re all living through these days.

It’s been a crazy year here at The Plot. Ups & downs & growing & loving & despising parts of it, but god am I amazed every season at how fortunate I am to witness & handle all of this beauty. Thankful to feel cold April rain on my face & for the smell of fresh soil under my fingernails & watching fat peony buds explode in the sunshine & seeing beading raindrops on iris. Thankful for all of the hardworking women I’ve met through this industry that share knowledge & blooms with me. Thankful I get to share that beauty with y’all.
I hope you all have found moments to be thankful for in the onslaught of insanity we’ve faced this year. Im going to be taking some quiet time to over the next couple of weeks to rest & recharge after a wild (and illness filled) end of the year….& slowly sift through the mountain of inquiries & emails that have piled up over the month.

I love a little weirdo wreath. Every year I make a couple that look like maybe they could have been scooped off the forest floor- moss, lichen covered branches, greens & cones. I couldn’t resist tucking a couple sarracenia I’ve been hoarding in the cooler for weeks now. Will they hold? Maybe not. But that’s ok!
I’ll have a handful of funky ones with me this weekend at our pop up for those of you that like to celebrate the season with a little something different ❄️

Hiiiiiiiiii! It’s me! Some quick info for the holiday pop up this upcoming Saturday 🌲🌲
I’ll be joining the lovely crew of @westend.interiors at their beautiful studio in Larkinville for the Holiday Stroll from 11-3 or whenever we sell out of goods. We’ll have unique wreaths and potted winter plants- amaryllis, paperwhites & cyclamen. All of these make super cute gifts for friends, fam, loved ones, or maybe a little something for yourself. I’ll give y’all some sneak peeks throughout the week while I work away in the studio getting everything ready for ya!

Brought a handful of literal dead & dying flowers to Vermont with us. Amaryllis, chrysanthemum, oncidium orchid & some baaarely hanging on viburnum in the woodshed.

Fall y’all! A fever dream & a blur of beauty as the weeks fly by. So many exciting projects, incredible clients, perfect days- and grateful for all of it! I always think that things slow down after wedding season, but that’s just a lie I tell myself every year 🙃
