Some days are smooth and some days everything fights back. A wall doesn’t line up right, paint takes forever to dry, somebody cuts something an inch short, everyone stands around staring at it for a minute, then somehow it all comes together anyway.
There’s always music playing. Someone running a sander too loud. Scrap piles getting bigger. Coffee getting reheated three times. And somehow every project starts with “this should be pretty simple” before turning into absolute chaos for a week straight.
Most people only ever see the finished thing at the event or in the photos. They don’t see the hours of moving stuff around the shop trying to figure out if an idea actually works in real life.
