The new album is mixed! It's named, sequenced and outfitted for packaging. Handing it over to @kevorkianmastering in Brooklyn, NY for mastering this week. Will we self release like usual? Will we find a likeminded label that believes in the album like we do to release it? Probably not the latter, but we'll see. I do know this, it's a great record, it delivers a message worth sending. It's a positive record, the most positive record we've ever presented. It's the brain child of Mandy and myself's journey into the existential crisis that is life, without taking ourselves too serious. In fact, there are quite a few light hearted tracks peppered into this collection, which is now collectively known as Yarn's Saturday Night Sermon. Why the title? A sermon is the communication of a message to encourage reflection or action in the listener. Typically it's delivered on a Sunday morning in a religious type of setting. The message we're delivering with this record, along with the reflection and action we're hoping takes place, seems better suited for a Saturday night in one's favorite place of enjoyment - - a nightclub, a bowling alley, a cafe, your car, your home, or hopefully live at a giant sold out music venue!!! 🙏 Wherever and whenever you listen, we're optimistic you'll be having a good time. We can't wait for you all to hear this music. The visual side of things is also currently being created with several music videos for the new songs already in production. Thanks for sticking with us all these years, I feel we have finally hit our stride and our music is finally taking the shape it was destined to take. 🙏❤️💪👊 Stay tuned for more details about the release, until then come hear this new music live at a Yarn show near you!!! It’s that time of year! Last holiday season Midnight North released two Christmas songs!
