Congratulations to Lydia Williams who will join a list of Australian football greats to be awarded the PFA's highest honour on Monday 16 March, recognising her extraordinary contribution to Australian football and her long-standing leadership within the player movement.
The Alex Tobin OAM Medal awarded to aย player who exemplifies the four qualities embodied by Alex Tobin: leadership, achievement as a player, commitment to fellow professionals, and service and dedication to the game.
She will become the third female footballer to receive the accolade, following in the footsteps of Cheryl Sailsbury and Melissa Barbieri.
