However, this was no surprise to McLaren themselves. Theyâve donât consider the female audience as something they hope to win over, but as an already integral part of its strength and as an instrumental part of their strategic processes for a number of years.

Team CEO Zak Brown recently conceded that McLaren had once felt âvery exclusiveâ. In 2018, as part of its commitment to change, the team returned to their historic papaya roots.
Today, the McLarenâs papaya has become less a colour than an indicator of their inclusivity and progression.
